Jim Citron
Lecturer
Jim Citron is a Lecturer in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. He also serves as Language and Culture Specialist and Teacher Trainer at Dartmouth's Rassias Center for World Languages and Cultures and has taught Writing 5. His research interests have included the relationships between language and culture, cross-cultural adjustment and re-entry, and third culture formation. He has taught Spanish and Intercultural Communication at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels and has held a variety of leadership roles in international educational exchange in the United States and Mexico. When not teaching, you may find him performing improvisational comedy or volunteering as a Spanish-English medical interpreter at a free health clinic.
