During my three+ decade career as a psychologist, I have successfully applied behavioral science in diverse academic, clinical and organizational settings –– as a researcher, teacher, clinician, coach, thought leader and change agent. Across settings and roles, my life’s work has been dedicated to improving the well-being and performance of individuals, teams and organizations through the application of psychological models, methods and research findings.

Invited by the Saudi Health Ministry to conduct leadership workshops with their hospital emergency services directors

 

 

WORKPLACE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Designed and supervised delivery of programs to prevent and manage adverse stress reactions in the workplace

Devised and implemented process improvements for the fair and efficient adjudication of “mental and nervous” disability claims, coupled with more effective return-to-work interventions

Conducted a confidential assessment of police substance abuse patterns, contributing cultural and organizational factors, and realistic reduction strategies, with the cooperation of a large metropolitan police union

Designed and led delivery of COVID-era leadership programs to build employee resilience and lead them effectively through disruptive change
