Judith Hertog

Judith Hertog is a journalist and essayist. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Bennington College. She has written extensively for the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine, and has published articles in publications like the New York Times, The Sun Magazine, and Tricycle Magazine. Her writing has taken her to places like Israel, China, Tibet, and Taiwan. Her essays have appeared in literary journals like Longreads, Zone 3, Hotel Amerika and many others. The essay "Running With Montaigne," published in Crab Orchard Review, was cited as a notable essay in The Best American Essays. She is currently working on a book about Tibet.
