Katherine M Forbes-Riley
|Lecturer
My work intersects the fields of computational linguistics, creative writing and motherhood. I bring to the classroom two decades of pursuits in theoretical research, product-oriented corporate tech, college teaching and the arts. My scientific and creative writings have been published in many professional venues and received numerous awards. My debut novel, THE BOBCAT, was a finalist for the prestigious Center for Fiction's First Novel Prize, and I have served as fiction judge for the Vermont Book Award. I am eager to help students navigate the surface of human language and probe its depths for voices that resonate.
