My research combines data science and high performance computing with petrology and geochemistry to explore scientific questions about the composition and evolution of continental crust, and the interrelationship of volcanism and intrusion through data analysis and magmatic thermodynamic simulations using global rock geochemical databases such as EarthChem and GEOROC.
