Peggy Baum
Lecturer in Writing
I think of teaching as the creation of a community of learners. In community, we create a safe place to pursue the challenges and risks of communicating who we are and what we think. We realize the importance of clarity and reason to the academic conversation as we engage with crucial human issues through reading, thinking, speaking, and writing.
