Timothy Lim is returning again this Summer Term! Professor Lim has been a distinguished visiting professor at Dartmouth over the years since 2007, and has consistently received student praise. Professor Lim is also currently serving as a Sperry Fellow in the Religion department's Honors program.

  • Timothy Lim has published five authored books, six edited books, and over sixty articles and chapters, including The Earliest Commentary on the Prophecy of Habakkuk (OUP 2020), The Formation of the Jewish Canon (YUP, 2013), and (co-edited with Professor John J. Collins) The Oxford Handbook of the Dead Sea Scrolls (OUP 2010). His most popular book is The Dead Sea Scrolls (OUP 2005; 2nd ed. 2017), which has been translated into eight languages, and made into two audiobooks. His current research is on human and divine love in the "Song of Songs" and its reception history.
